Common questions
Can you make a key if I lost all my car keys?
Yes. We've handled more than 10,000 all-keys-lost jobs, European cars included: BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo. Send the year, make and model and we'll confirm and quote before any work starts.
Is it really cheaper than the dealer?
For most newer cars, our transponder keys and remote programming come in up to 40% below dealer pricing.
Can I reuse an extra fob from another car?
Sometimes. Bring the car and all its keys to the shop and we'll check whether that fob can be programmed to it.
What's the difference between rekeying and replacing a lock?
Rekeying changes the inside of your existing lock so old keys stop working. It's usually the quicker, cheaper option. Replacing makes sense if the lock is worn out or you want an upgrade.
